Election Worker Ambassador Program




About the Program

The Election Worker Ambassador program is an opportunity for Election Workers to get more involved with the elections office. Through the Ambassador Program, Election Workers are given special instruction and resources to assist in conducting Voter Outreach events throughout the county. This is a paid position and is only offered as a casual employment opportunity to Election Workers who meet the basic requirements laid out for this program. There may be two to six outreach events per month lasting a duration of two to four hours per event.


Job Requirements

The Supervisor of Elections Office accepts applications from qualified applicants for open positions only. Applicants are Election Workers who have already demonstrated their dedication to the democratic process by working previously for the county during an elections cycle. Applicants for the Election Worker Ambassador program must be able to meet the following requirements in order to be considered:

  • - Excellent communication skills
  • - Reliable transportation
  • - Ability to engage with the public
  • - Fluent in English, bilingual is a plus!
  • - Must possess an infectious smile and personality
  • - Must be able to work at an event on their feet for over four consecutive hours.
