Signature Witness NO LONGER Required for Absentee Ballots-
CS/SB 2566 removes the requirement that a voter's signature on an
absentee ballot be witnessed and requires a supervisor of elections to
compare an elector's signature on the ballot to that on the registration
books to verify that the voter is duly registered in the county.
